About Rosebrook Child Development Center

At Rosebrook, we believe that childhood should feel like home: safe, joyful, and full of discovery. Our mission has remained the same since we opened our first center in Wixom, Michigan, in 2011 to nurture independence, responsibility, leadership, and respect in a caring environment where every child can thrive. 

With highly trained, long-tenured teachers, we know each child by name and are committed to making every child’s day meaningful.

Our approach blends whole-child care with proven academic programs, including Zoo-Phonics, Learning Without Tears, and STEAM-based hands-on projects.

We offer a variety of programs designed for every stage of childhood, from infants to school-age children, as well as a before-and-after-school program and summer camp.

We have centers in Brighton, Wixom, Kimball, and Fenton, providing a welcoming space for children to grow and learn.

Assistant Teacher (All Ages)

Position Summary:
The Assistant Teacher at Rosebrook Child Development Center works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide quality care and instruction to children across all age groups, from infants to school-age children. This role requires an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting children in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of students.

• Help implement social-emotional management and promote independence in children.

• Support the creation and planning of classroom projects, field trips, and other program activities.

• Assist with the daily classroom routines, including maintaining a clean and organized space.

• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on children's progress.

• Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.

• Maintain a professional attitude and demonstrate respect and dignity toward children, parents, and other staff.

• Participate in naptime routines as directed by the Lead Teacher.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).

• Experience working with children in a childcare setting (preferably in a daycare, preschool, or other early childhood education environment).

• Knowledge of child development and the ability to create a safe, nurturing environment.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Lead Teacher – Infants

Position Summary:
As the Lead Teacher for infants at Rosebrook, you will be responsible for nurturing and guiding the development of infants through a safe, structured, and loving environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with infant care and early childhood development, focusing on building strong, positive relationships with both children and parents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support infants' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

• Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment for infants.

• Collaborate with parents to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.

• Observe and assess the developmental milestones of infants and document progress.

• Work with the Assistant Teacher to ensure smooth classroom operations and maintain an organized and clean space.

• Communicate with parents regularly about their child’s progress and address any concerns or needs.

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding infant care.

• Attend training sessions and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).

• At least 1-2 years of experience in an infant care setting.

• Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and practices for creating a nurturing environment.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with infants.

Lead Teacher – Toddlers

Position Summary:
The Lead Teacher for Toddlers at Rosebrook is responsible for guiding toddlers through activities that promote early learning and development. You will help toddlers build language, motor, and social skills in a safe and structured environment while fostering a sense of independence.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily activities that promote toddlers' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth.

• Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.

• Foster social-emotional development by guiding toddlers through interaction, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

• Work closely with parents to communicate their child’s progress and milestones.

• Manage and supervise toddlers during all classroom activities, including outdoor play, snack time, and naptime.

• Maintain individual portfolios for each child to track progress and development.

• Collaborate with the Assistant Teacher to ensure classroom operations run smoothly.

• Participate in staff meetings and training to continue professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).

• 1-2 years of experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting.

• Knowledge of toddler developmental milestones and behavior management techniques.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with parents, children, and colleagues.

Lead Teacher – Preschool

Position Summary:
The Lead Teacher for Preschool at Rosebrook Child Development Center will oversee the planning and delivery of curriculum for preschool-aged children, helping them build foundational skills in language, literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic about early education and can create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes school readiness, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and organized classroom environment.

• Guide and support preschoolers in group activities, independent play, and collaborative learning.

• Maintain communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and developmental milestones.

• Collaborate with other staff to plan field trips, class projects, and extracurricular activities.

• Monitor and document each child’s progress and share updates with parents.

• Ensure the classroom adheres to safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

• 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.

• Knowledge of early childhood education techniques, particularly in the areas of language, literacy, and social-emotional development.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

GSRP Teacher

Position Summary:
The GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) Teacher is responsible for delivering Michigan’s free Pre-K program to eligible four-year-olds, ensuring they are prepared for kindergarten. This role requires the development and implementation of structured, age-appropriate learning activities that foster early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum designed to help four-year-olds develop the skills needed for kindergarten, including early math, reading, and problem-solving.

• Provide a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment.

• Track and document student progress and share updates with parents during conferences.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide enrichment opportunities and assess student progress.

• Work with families to support each child's learning and development.

• Implement behavior management strategies that promote social-emotional learning and conflict resolution.

• Participate in professional development and GSRP-specific training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

• Certification in GSRP or willingness to obtain.

• 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children or in early childhood education.

• Knowledge of state standards for preschool education and early literacy techniques.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
